I'm Tessa, the creative force behind our mission to redefine inclusive and functional design. With over two decades of expertise in interior design and design education, I am dedicated to crafting spaces that go beyond aesthetic appeal to ensure comfort and functionality for all. My commitment to excellence and passion for universal design principles guide every project, making each space uniquely tailored to meet diverse needs.
My Journey
My passion for interior design ignited during my academic journey at Florida State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. Driven by a commitment to excellence, I pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree, further exploring the artistry and functionality of interior spaces.
Expertise & Experience
I most often answer to Prof. Tessa when working with my interior design students. For the past 17 years, I've had the privilege of sharing my knowledge as an Interior Design Professor, shaping the minds of budding designers while continually evolving my craft.
Remaining actively involved in the industry by working with clients is important to me. It keeps me up to date with the latest trends and practices and allows me to provide real-world scenarios for my students to learn from.
As an NCIDQ-certified and licensed interior designer in Florida, I specialize in barrier-free design and creating living spaces that embrace the concept of "design for everybody."
I am passionate about helping everyone make their homes work for them, not just exist in them. Your home should be a reflection of who you are—a place that tells your story, meets your needs, and enhances your daily life. I believe that homes are made for living, and they should be personal, practical, and perfect for the people who inhabit them.

This unique combination allows me to seamlessly blend real-world design services with the innovative, cutting-edge concepts I instill in my students. Beyond Design
When I'm not immersed in teaching and the design world, you can find me seeking inspiration through travel, exploring nature's beauty, spending time with family and friends, working out in Pilates, or simply enjoying a crisp Diet Coke with the perfect ice and a good book. As a lifelong learner, I love expanding my design reference library with new coffee table books and pursuing self-improvement. These moments of tranquility fuel my creativity and add depth to my design philosophy.
